The last few days have been pretty good fishing. Even with no wind I have been able to pull walleyes out of the rocks with jigs and shiners. Yesterday (6/11) was flat calm, I had a half day trip and we managed 10 walleyes with 4 keepers and slot fish, and one over fish. Its the first over fish I have seen for awhile.

The pattern, for me anyway is rocks. The rocks will hold fish wind or no wind. They will bite better and shallower with wind but today I had no wind and I simply moved out to 14ft to 15ft of water from the tops of the rocks and was able to jig up 20 fish with a nice 8 fish limit in just 4 hours. Trolling in circles seems to be the key along with aggressive jigging. The trolling in circles keeps the bait out of the travel path of the boat. The shiners are spawning and will not be available much longer but im sure rainbows would work aswell.
