Another excellent week of fishing on Lake of the Woods is in the books.  Some beautiful weather really turned on the bite.

A good number of trophy walleyes are being caught in 29 to 32 feet.  Anchoring and jigging is still been the preferred method for boating fish.  Gold is working well on the brighter days, while pink and chartreuse dominate during overcast conditions.  Leeches, worms, and frozen shiners are all working.  One is better one day, and another better the next.  Some anglers have found success pulling plugs and spinners in the shallower waters along Pine Island as well.

It looks like we have some weather coming in early in the week, with some rain and possible thunderstorms.  Once that moves through, things are going to heat up towards the weekend with highs in the mid eighties.
