I have been working on these for the last couple months. The idea is they mount onto to the back of the benches built into many of the docks that you see. But the more I think about it the more potential uses I keep coming up with. Printed on 1/2 MDO plywood.

Truth is they could be mounted just about anywhere, indoors or outdoors. I was talking to a guy last night at my fishing league who works for a lumber company and he was interested in mounting them onto the rail of a deck. Seems like there could be a lot of commercial uses too. Anyway they have been fun to work on now I have to figure out how to sell them.

If any of you work for a dock mfg. I would love to talk with you. They would be great in a bar, at the cabin, tackle shop.

I have 4 prototypes so far. A bass, walleye, crappie and sunfish.

Would love to hear any comments.

I don't have a photo of the actual walleye print, the printed sign that is, but here is the art.

those look really nice. have you considered applying it to one of those corn bag toss games?  could be cool. or take the fish alone with some coat/hat hooks on it?

good way to keep yourself busy when your not hunting.

Good ideas guys - thanks.
Truth is I guess I could print just about anything on there if I had some decent art to work from. Ducks, pheasants, deer, grouse... eelpout.

MDO is a great product (medium density overlay) Do not confuse it with MDF (medium density fiberboard) MDO has a much greater resistance to moisture than MDF. as long as it does not stay wet and the edges are sealed it is a excellent substrate for this. How do you create the look of planks? is it a vinyl sheet or handpainted?

The plank look is printed along with the fish. I think it's a fancy inkjet printer. And the edges are sealed. Printed with UV inks. Color should hold up well in direct sunlight for 7 - 10 years I was told.
