I have a buddy who did this last year, he caught a huge Bowfin that qualified - that what the last I heard about it.
I have caught a rock bass over 10" and Pumpkinseed over 9", thats just this year fishing off the raft at the lake.  Maybe sometime in the future it might be pretty cool to get the Grand Master - I would assume they send you some sort of Certificate!
Pretty neat, thanks for sharing/reminding me about that!

 :bump:    Interesting program.  A few of our members would qualify this year.  The only drawback I see is you must name the lake the fish was caught on.

     The lake of no fish did not give up any of it's treasures to me this year.  See Lee, if you lived in Minnesota the Borgemiester could stack up these master angler awards like cord wood.  ;D ;D
