I was just on the phone with a friend and he has told me that the DNR is removing fish from Pelican Lake by Monticello to be used as breeding stock in other lakes. Can anyone verify this? Has anyone else heard of this happening? Also, has anyone been out there yet fishing? Very interested to know as this is one of my favorite spots to panfish during the hard season. Thanks in advance.
