Fishing was excellent in the early part of the week, but slowed a bit during the weekend as low pressure moved in.  We are moving deeper to stay on the fish.  Our houses are situated in 30 to 32 feet as of now.  Anglers have been catching a good mix of walleyes and saugers.  Gold and glow colored jigs with a minnow are working well.  Some nice walleyes have been found suspended, so bringing electronics is not a bad idea, if you’re searching for the “big” one.

Warmer weather continues throughout the early part of the week, with cooler weather moving in late Wednesday or Thursday.  We currently have about 17 inches of ice on our part of the lake
