I have an Otter cabin II with the purple canvas and round tubes, the sled is a medium and measures 30 inchs wide.

I bought a newer blue camo skin for it due to the mice who chewed my purple one up, but now it appears the newer skin will not fit.

I have not actualy tried to put it on yet but when I was asking a fellow forum member about his bench seat he has for sale he told me the newer sleds are 32 inch wide now.

So how old do I need to go back to to get a skin that will fit mine?

I am guessing mine is 4 to 6 years old now???

Also any one have a copy of the 2012 in fisherman ice guide magazine??
I can't find one any where.

Called Otter today and was told that they did change sled widths about two years ago maybe three. The newer skins will not fit right on the smaller old sleds.

They also do not sell the square poles seperetly from the skins, lue camo to the old poles, you have to buy the kit.And they don't have any old skins in stock either.

So I am left with trying to patch my purple skin, try fitting the newer blue skin on the old poles,or selling my old house with the purple skin and the new blue camo one and just upgrade to a thermal house.

If you can't get the exact skin you want, maybe you should go to a canvas place that could make you an exact fit?  I know there are places that do just that.

I called canvas craft but they didn't seem to be intrested in making a new skin for mine but said they would sell me a whole new house package.

I will have to call a couple others and I intend to go to canvas craft and see them directly, some times the people who answer the phone there just want to give you the easy answer to move on to another customer.

I will be trying the blue camo skin on it tomorrow to see just how much biger it really is.

Ok, i put the new blue ice camo skin on today. The sled part wasnt a problem at all, the contour was off a little apperently but the snap on rail did stay in place.

The skin though is larger than the old purple ones by about 3 inches to the front and front base , my poles where extended out past the pop in buttons and I still needed about two inches on the front top suport pole and the front base pole could have been 2 to 3 inches longer as well.

The back and top suport poles were extended out past the pop up button but they were tight, so maybe just 2 inches difference on those.

I did take pics but can't find the kids micro sd card adaptor to up load from my cell so have to wait till i find another one.

Next step is to see if I can find some longer base poles (ones the slider poles go into) to get the skin streached tighter.

Then see about getting a norpac skin made to my old purple one.
