I am heading up to Red Lake and if its slow then we will go to Lake of the Woods.  Does anyone have any advice of where to go out from, depths or coordinates they would be willing to share?  Send me a PM if you would.
Thanks in advance

for red lake, stay away from the crowd.  that's the only real advice I can give there.the fishing has died off the last few weeks.  you can still get a limit, but you have to be mobile. deeper water is better, but mainly get away from people and rattle jig like crazy.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Thanks John,
based on what I have read on reports and heard, I am going straight to Lake of the Woods, any other tips would be appreciated.
