Thinking of fishing the south fork of the crow river in the morning for pike and walleyes.  Anybody have any suggestions or tips?
I will have my ice picks and spud.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

May sound silly....but, I would wear a life jacket too.
The lakes around here haven't been the safest, and the rivers are always less predictable.
