Spring fishing is in full swing and the big fish are hitting.  While weather slowed things down a bit earlier in the week, it has been great the last couple of days.  Many big walleyes have been caught and released.  Jig and minnow has been working well.  Anglers have been doing especially well near Lighthouse gap in 16 to 22 feet.  Be careful, there is still ice floating around on the lake.

Sturgeon action has been good in Four mile bay and in the Rainy River.  Night crawlers have been working well for these monsters.  The current has picked up in the river, so expect to use some weight to keep the bait on the bottom.

Highs will be in the upper 50’s this week.  There’s a chance for rain early this week, with plenty of sunshine to follow.

We still have a few openings midweek and into the Easter weekend.  Give us a call and come on up!

Fish ON!
