My brother and I went fishing yesterday.  We had a great time.  Lots of fish.  We each kept a limit of nice crappies.  The biggest were just over 12 inches.  We also caught 5 bass, largest 19 inches and 4 norhterns, largest 28 inches.  We had a couple laughs.  I had a rod holder on the side of a 5 gallon bucket.  When I picked up the bucket by the handle, it flipped the rod holder off.  It made two bounces and then went right down the hole.  Later I took a daredevel and manged to fish it out.  My brother laid he rod down to get a sandwich.  While standing about 10 feet away I heard something and yelled "your rod is moving".  I thought sure it was a gonner but he managed to plunge his arm down the hole and grab it before it disapeared.  I sure wish I had a camera going.  Good thing it was warm.

We were on a central MN lake.  It had good ice.  Probably around 18 inches.  Trucks were on the ice last Tuesday.
