The local lakes have been producing big bass and pike for those who will tolerate the heat to get out after them. I know it's much more tempting to go in the water than on it but some good fishin can still be had. Just find a lake with little to no water skiers.

The bass and northern have continued to bite well. Pork frogs have been working well for me. I have been using a bullet weight with a weedless hook right in the thick stuff.

The nice sunnies have seemed to pickup recently also. I've had my best luck in 7-8 fow.

Northerns have been real good on "mud lake" by new london. Spearers have been seeing 15-20 a day. Medium suckers on tip ups have also been producing.

If ur after panfish try golden pond. Nice sunnies and crappies on the weed edge near deeper water.

For walleyes give stennerson a try. Fish anywhere from 14-23 inches with most being 16-18. Bout 8 FOW right next to the stumps. Use glow ligs with a fathead as the water is pretty murky, something that rattles might be worth trying too. It's almost called catching.

Griz,
You been out on the pond lately?
Are there any size to the sunnies?
All I wanna know is, are we going to be cramped?

A couple buddies were out there few days ago and got some nice crappies and sunnies. Nothing real huge but crappies and sunnies were both real nice in size. They more than willing to bite also.
