SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA  - Axel's Tackle Box, Axel, 2 blocks north of Hwy 60 on Hwy 13, next to Casey’s, on Lake Sakatah in Waterville, www.axelstacklebox.com (507-362-4444)
Lake Tetonka is completely iced over with 8-9" good ice. All others around are open in spots. The snow we got helped keep the ice from melting, a fishing get together was Saturday and we had a real good turn out with everybody catching something. All live bait is working right now, at 4 o'clock the sunfish bite lasts for about a hour and a half. Circle Lake is giving up a few walleyes, Lake Francis is also iced over and is our northern lake for the week, large sucker minnows or chubs are working real well. Clear lake in Waseca is having a hay day on crappies. All fish seem to be taken in 10 - 17 foot of water.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
