The countdown has begun.  I will be on a special mission for monster pike this year.  I have designed some wire forms that will turn a 6 inch swimbait into a double cowgirl/spinnerbait hybrid.  The swimbaits can have weighted or non weighted hooks.  After seeing a couple of big pike grab onto hooked walleyes last year I wanted to try to simulate that action.  The swimbaits are laminated brown and white.   I will have other colors as well but that and white will be my start out colors.  The stealth gets out of the hospital this week complete with new tires and a MNO bumper sticker.  The last chore is to get the x-85 working.  I purchased a used one on ebay this weekend.  My unit has not been picking up the bottom very well the couple of times I got the stealth running last summer.  So everything is coming together for the 2nd trip to Stokes Bay.   ;D :blues brothers:

This is the wire form.  Complete with a twist on connection so swim baits can be changed easily.
