Any body go out this weekend yet? :green archer:.  I passed on a nice doe this morning at 30 yards and had a decent 8 point come within 40 yards no shot though

I went Friday evening and Saturday morning.  Sad to say, I wounded one on Saturday morning and we could not find her.  Perfect broadside shot but she stepped forward and I saw the arrow hit her directly center but too far back.  Arrow was covered in stomach contents.  Followed blood trail to an island but she was not there and we could not see where she left the island.

Went out Friday evening, saw nothing. Sat in the same stand Saturday evening and again nothing. They were hitting the acorns hard. There still are a lot of acorns on the ground. I don't know where they at. I think they in the cut corn now.

I went out on sat and had a great sit. Climbed the tree at 4 and had 2 fawns in the radish food plot before I even pulled up the bow.  It was so calm that you could hear all of the deer talking back and forth. 15 min later I heard a deer blowing.  Turned out it was the momma doe.  The fawns just looked up as she came in stomping made.  They proceded to slowly make their way to the main plot and eat acorns and oats/rye until dark.  They were not the only deer I saw.  Had another doe with twins eating under the red oak 100 yards to the east of me. After 45 min she spotted something she didn't like and snorted twice and slowly walked down the hill. 5 min later a silver fox came walking down the mowed ridge trail with a black squirrel in its mouth.  Stumpy the tailless doe snuck in on me and didn't offer a shot.  She is an old doe that hasn't had a fawn since she lost her tail.  Also saw a few nice bucks.  One is a nice 9 pointer that I have marked, as a buck I would like to fill my buck tag with.
