Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Cody.  He was sworn to secracy and then hoped into the trunk as a condition of fishing on my secret crappie lake.  Since he is younger than Fawkinee he didn't complain and was able to get in without questioning my authority.  We only fished for a little over 2 hours because of my meeting with dakids teachers, and Cody's girlfriend that insisted on him coming home early.  I guess she really misses him a lot when she is alone.  I overheard one of his many phone calls with her, I wish I was young again.  For some reason he asked to use the handcuffs that fawkinee left in my trunk.  He was all smiles when I told him to just keep them as they were the one with fur on them.

We did catch a few nice fish and Cody lost a giant at the bottom of the hole.  Best part was when his hot lure got caught on the bottom of the 3 foot hole and he reached his arm into the cold water to retrieve it.

Good time was had by all.  I hope to fish with him again in the near future.  GREAT KID.

The story was a very nice piece of reporting. However, do you think you could get Cody to enlighten us as to his post fishing adventure.

Just sayin

well i had the pleasure of fishing with dakids this past thursday, after meeting at holiday, he blind folded me then instructed me to follow him to the lake. lucky i have jedi mind powers and i took driving lessons from ricky bobby, so driving blind folded was no problem. well we get to lake X and dakids starts drilling. i take the vexilar to check holes and i step in a hole that was hidden under the snow, my leg went down past my knee. lucky i had my muck boots on! starting fishing with whole minnows on a forage minnow tipped with a whole minnow, that wasnt the key so i quickly changed to a small silver and blue slender spoon and minnow head. dakids polietly let me catch more fish then him. then my jig got stuck at the bottom of the hole! after a real wet cold arm i retreived it, had to put the shoulder almost all the way to the ice to reach it! tip ups were slow and i missed 2, and he missed one, but then showed me how it was done, when i was trying to set up the tip up he was showing me how his worked and it started spinning and up came a nice bass. then a few fish later i lost a monster at the bottom of the hole. im convinced that it was too wide to fit up the ice hole anyway.my girlfriend thanks dakids for the fuzzy cuffs but i have to remeber to get the key from him next time. friendly reminder to all if your gonna be cuffed just make sure you have the key!  :banghead: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: but it was a great fishing outting and probably the best crappie fishing ive ever had, along with great conversation with a great guy. hope to fish with him more in the future
