Colt's New Service Revolver
Anyone here familiar with this pistol?   Would like to know what all the stamps are referenced to.(crowns, crossed pendants, etc.)  Caliber is .455 eley.  I've determined by the serial number that it was produced in 1916.

Is this ammunition available anywhere?

Sounds like it was a lend-lease issue to the brits.

They used all sorts of wierd calibers before ,during and well after WWI.

Also could be a wild cat that some one redid after the gun was produced.

Try www.gunboard.com, there is a wealth of info there and some one might know about it there.
