  Yep.  She put the thwack in the Louisville slugger.  If you happen to run into Borgie in Ely go to the other side of the street.  TGO learned this lesson the hard way.   

You Bet he learned his lesson! Last year he got me mad and I went to his shop to straighten him out. He could tell buy the look on my face that I was angry and wouldn't let me in. So, I went back to the car and got my Borgie bat. The rest is history

Borgie knew better than coming to the shop while I was there, otherwise she'd have been stuck on the wall opposite the walleye mailbox!!

I remember her, she used to come into the shop for bait.
I think she was running the resort by herself, (plus the help) because her husband had a job that took him out of the area. (truck driver???)
Didn't they buy another resort near Orr after selling?

Paul was still working for 3M the first year or two an came up periodicaly then moved permently the season i worked there. they bought the place by selling an airplane he built, enterd a race, won, took the prize money an bought wispering pines. I think by my understanding, that two much money went into building it up to fast an they had to sell. The last I had heard they had a resort up in Canada, but I could be way off on that maybe it is orr. Good people. I went back to VCC never seen them again. I miss that area.
