well i was able to get in a few sits in this cold snap and just like clock work all the deer i have been getting on the cameras and seeing from the stand are moving between 10:00-2:00pm and man they have all put on some weight and thick hides from the cold going to do a few morning hunts this week and see what shows up then hitting the woods again this weekend   :archery:
Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

Makes sense to me, warmest part of the day. Just like us they don't like the cold, do all their running mid-day, hold up at night when it's really cold. People say deer are dumb animals, looks like they prove them wrong! That and everybody is at work during the day and deer know that also!

Its going to warm up a little more next week - I think I will give it another 2 or 3 days and see what I can do.  Unfortunately, all my cameras are down, but the fresh show will give me an idea of their travels!   :archery:
