Video: Ice Fishermen Pull Out Huge Lake Trout

 January 26, 2014

Some people may ask ice fishermen why they endure the frozen hands and cold feet, and the video below will probably be in-line with the answer. Camaraderie and appreciation for the outdoors are big draws, but few anglers will refuse a once-in-a-lifetime catch.

The video’s description claims that the fish is 43.75 inches long, which if accurate will place it just behind the world record 46 incher caught by Bruce Sederberg in Ontario last year.

Video includes adult language. Skip forward to 7:30 to see the fish.

Rumor has it that greatoutdoors has pledged to surpass that huge 43.75" Laker at this years "Burntside Bash". Since he doesn't hardly fish anymore I think his ego has kicked in and will get him in trouble. However, someone may help him out of his Lazy-boy and drag him out to the lake. Time will tell.

Good Luck Jimbo! (we would all rather laugh with you than at you) :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
