Marcum VX-1P Problem
Does anybody have one of these? Have you ever had a problem with it?

We went fishing last weekend, my son was using his Marcum. It was working fine at first, then it started to look like it had interference with another unit, then just went to a red bar at the top.

We tried a different battery with the same result. Could it be a transducer problem? Or the unit itself?

  Most likely a transducer problem.  If you know someone else that has one you can verify that way.  Other wise

I sent Marcum an e-mail, and already got a response back.
The tech said that it needs to go in for repairs.....oh well.....

We got it back yesterday. They put a new faceplate and replaced a board...all for FREE!
Looks like a brand new unit!

They do stand behind their stuff!  :happy1:
