If science fiction has taught me anything, it's that you can never have enough guns and ammo when the zombies come back to life... "WS"

and since I've never learned how to post multiple pics.. here is the same plot 14 days later.

the green in this pic is 90% what we planted (except the large trees in the background).  the process..

1. spray
2. mow
3. spray
4 2 wheelers dragging the snot out of it.
5 toss some seed
6 drag again lightly
7 wheeler towing a compacting drum

this was the last plot we seeded.. so it got all that was left. 50% rape/25% white clover /25% turnip.

here is another plot that we call the orchard. not sure if 4 apple trees constitutes an orchard. but in our minds some day we'll be harvesting the fruits of this effort.

there are 4 apple trees in this picture. they are caged off for their own protection. this is a bean and radish mix (maybe some turnip) in this area. and just next too it is a clover patch.  we're trying new things this year. turnips grow good. but they are usually gone by deer season and I would like a nice mix to bring in the deer.
