red lake get together
I know a few of you guys were talking about a possible get together on red this hard water season. any more info behind that?

I would be interested.  It's a long way for most and I would suggest a rental or bring wheel house.  Too far for a single day fishing.  I was there the past two days and even though it was not that cold, the wind/sleet/snow would have made for a miserable time in a portable.

I was gona plann a iceaplooza on red but dds has the ely trought trip so i havent really thiught to much past that.who evers game im in just dont know what weekend.oretty full in jan.

I hoping to get up there in January. But I know there was a lot of talk of a lot of the guys that went to leech possibly doing red as well.  If I figure  out when people were thinking about going then I can plan my trip accordingly

I would be interested in making it.  Its been a while since I've seen a few of ya and never seen a few as well.  I will try to talk fireranger into it.  if you could set a date doug or boar that would be great.

Im there the first four weekends in Jan. but Im also waiting for scot to set a date for Troutapalooza on burtside up at ely, Imentioned to scott that January for me was pretty full and that early feb is a good time at burnt side, but hes gota do what works on his schedual. then there EllPout in mid Feb so my calender is getting full, the best weekend for me in January is the weekend of the 17 and 16th, I have a family reunion fishing trip calle d the Norwegeons on ice tour, but Id rather fish with you guys. LOL.  So thats my best weekend in Jan. Im coming up thursday night and fishing friday sat and half sun.  So if you wanna date set thats best for me.
