gonna start a thread to rant about weather rants and idiot road drivers. it drew a lot of posts before I kindly got booted from another site boar got be banned from!!!! :bonk: :doah: ;)

anyhows, heard on KQRS earlier the DOT website has 22 accidents reported in the cities. some gut called in and said in about a 3 mile stretch from the 94-694-494 north in maple grove there were 20 some cars in the ditch.

tue I went to red wing to be a union thug. things were good till just south of rogers, then if ya got lucky you maybe hit 30. usually was slower. that 2 1/2 hour trip took a little over 4 hours to make.

anyway rant on about da idiots driving in this stuff!!!!!!!!

Road conditions don't need to be bad to see idiot drivers.  They are everywhere.

Roads were so bad in ND today I cancelled a day of work...was suppose to drive 100 miles to Dickinson.  But my truck with Studded Nokia tires can handle any ice/snow/wind... my concern is all the others without them.  Not quite sure why Mn makes studded tires illegal???  Sure makes driving on ice a lot safer..IMO.

I used to have to put up with that  :censored: when I worked and lived in the cities. Now on days like this I wake up, open one eye, and decide if I want to crawl out of bed.

the drive home was interesting. hwy 10 was like a skating rink. roads where that way till I got to Clearwater on 94. from there they got better. hwy 23 ya could drive 80. well ok 65. looked at the 511 state website for road conditions this afternoon and it looked like they shut down the whole road system in the southwest corner of the state. doesn't look so bad now.
