Finally got him.
Last winter I trapped a beaver lodge near Watertown and caught 3 smaller beaver and also the breading female.  I tried to to catch the big male for 3 weeks.  I set up a run through the cattails that came out of the back of the lodge the 1st day.  66 pound black male.

I will be pulling all of my traps Saturday.  Hopefully I stay dry and catch a bunch more.  I need enough meat for my daughters graduation party.   Smoke them up and it tastes better than pulled pork.
