Had A Great Vacation
Ya, I did have a great vacation.  My wife, mother-in-law [90 years old], my daughter and her husband and two of my grandkids, and my "adopted" son and his girlfriend went up to the Ash River Trail.  We stayed at Ash Riviera Resort and RV Park.  I do have a good size boat but I rented their pontoon boat just like I did the last time we stayed there.  Good eats and great fishing.

Caught many walleye's in the 20 to 22 inch area.  Slot is a keeper if 17 inches and under.  Not too many of those.  However the perch are real monsters there.  Most were 12 to 14 inches and bodies like footballs.  Still can't believe of the size of perch there.  I've been to some good perch spots but this is the place for true jumbo's.  Here are some of the pics.  That one pic where the fish are all layed out has a walleye on the top left which went 15 inches so you can see the size of the perch.   good luck.

Welcome back! I was also on vacation for the last 10 days... great time at the cabin and fishing was pretty good!

Ya, I still can't get over the size of the perch.  Caught many nice walleye but the perch stole the show.  good luck.
