Has anyone tried the live colored wax worms from www.waxwormkit.com? If so any luck and what colors did you use and what kind of fish did you catch?

I've tried raising waxies b4 when I was in bait biz. I'll tell ya, I had moths all over the house. The only problem I had was to stop them from spinning. Any way no matter what I tried I had moths, I had to bomb the house many times over the dang things.

I haven't tried them from there, but I do have some black ones in my bait puck from last year-I think they're still sleeping.     ;D

I've tried some colored ones last yr and they didn't seem to produce any better. They all did turn to moths lots faster though. They must not have figured out how to give em color and stop them from spinning too.

to stop them from spinning they have to be almost frozen. half hour in the freezer normally takes care of it .. you have to be very careful . if you leave them in to long ........  well you know what happens.  lol   good luck all   scott

I tried that and for me all it did was slow the spinning process. I tried everything I could think of and everything I was told and most of the things involved cooling them. Nothing really seemed to work but they all did slow down the spinning process. They would still spin after a couple weeks though.
