Last try for pike for me.  Had 8 inches of ice and the access was not good.  Pretty slow. We managed 2 bass, 2 pike and this 1 small crappie. Friends kid got to catch everything.  I love letting the kids chase the flags.  His dad will be getting a bill from the taxidermist.

No fair using those miniature cans.  Nice catch.  You are one great advocate for the youth hunting and fishing.  Thanks from other sportsmen for taking them.

I found myself drooling when I saw dat crappie.  Good job!

I do have to admit though :banghead: at my age sometimes I do catch myself drooling.

  Don't tell anyone
:embarrassed:

I won't even mention about how my nose runs :undecided:

It's always more fun to watch a kid have fun. 2 weeks ago I had my youngest daughter out and 2 of her friends that had never even walked on a frozen lake let alone fished.  They had a blast and all 3 kids caught a pike over 30 inches.

Just got off the phone with his dad and it weighed 2 pounds 8 ounces and was 16.5 inches.  He is dropping it off at the taxidermist tomorrow.  His son has sent pictures to all his friends.  He is also telling them that he caught it on Lake X .
