If you didn't know already tomorrow Wednesday Feb. 14th is Valentines[/color] day.   ::)  So if you haven't done so already you best hurry up and get your "better half" something!

I believe it's man law #666 subsection 38DD that states we must put aside our needs for this day and treat our wives/and or girlfriends to a special day/evening.  That may or may not include a dinner out at a fancy schmancy restaurant.  It is also noted to get on or remain on the good side of said wife/and or girlfriend that you also accompany the meal with a generous gift.  Although it is NOT necessary to break the bank when purchasing this gift.  (Afterall spring is coming, and there is surely some new gizmo you'll need to put in the boat!)

I just wanted to give you all a fair warning!

To those who don't have a "better half" this day is also for you!  While not listed in the man laws-it is common knowledge that you to can celebrate with friends at your local adult beverage establishment.  And for cripes sakes...get yourself a gift-typically any quality sporting goods store will carry what you are looking for!   ;)

This is my first Valentines day alone in 15 years. I think I'll take your advice and hit the local pub tomorrow night, my gift to myself will be a new Lakemaster 2007 Minnesota chip.

Flowers (Tulips) were delivered today a day early (saved $10  ;D).  I am swamped at work and at home (tax business) so dinner on Saturday night at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi (my favorite place (and hers).  A quick run to Best Buy to pick up the CD she wants (that I also like) and I should have my day out tipup fishing on Saturday the way I wanted it...

It all works out in the end!!!  ;D

Now that folks is a man who has read the man laws, including the bylaws as well as the fine lines between!   Notice how everything he does for her...he also benefits from!  You sir, are a lesson to others! Kudos!  ;D  Ziggy Socky, Ziggy Socky, Hoy, Hoy, Hoy![/

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by thethings you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throwoff the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catchthe trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I think we are all very lucky Schwinger...

With my work, I am home late most nights and gone in the morning long before my wife or son are even thinking about getting up. I have found that she actually appreciates me taking what little free time I have when I am home to do some of the things she normally does to make her day that much easier and relaxing than some big fancy expensive gift or a $300 vase of red roses.

Remember guys, sometimes they just like to know that we appreciate all the Mommy and homemaker things that they take care of each and every day that many times go unnoticed or unmentioned to them. Make sure and tell your honey how much you love her and how much you appreciate all the things she does to keep your household going day in and day out.

Everyone have a great Valentines Day.
