I started up a Nascar fantasy racing league titled appropriately enough- "MNO Racing".  I want to invite anyone and everyone who may be interested in joining to do so.  It's easy & free.   And while there is no prizes....I might be able to come up with something for the season winner in November.  For now though I'll leave that as "TBA".

The instructions of how to sign up are in my other post in the NASCAR forum, "MNO Nascar Racing League".   http://mnoutdoorsman.com/forums/index.php?topic=3146.0

It won't be long until we hear "LETS GO RACING BOYS"!!!!  (Of course I welcome the women to join as well!)   ;)

I would like to invite everyone to join the MNO racing league too.  I don't know much about NASCAR, but this is a free league!  So why not put a team together and have some fun with the other MNO members?  It will be great! ;D

Allright I'll join the league, you talked me into it. I've never played, so please take it easy on the rookie. ;D

The funny thing is I run a fantasy league at work, and the one person who doesn't know anything about Nascar has won the last 2 years in a row.   That particular league is a paying league-he walked home with $200.00 each time.    (Monopoly money of course Mr. IRS man)  ;D

It's all a guessing game-here is a hint:
Google 2007 Nascar Fantasy Rankings.  ;)

Joe answered this best on another page.  I copied his instructions from there to here so everyone knows.   Thanks again Joe!!

All you do is pick 8 drivers every week to create your team for each race.

2 drivers from the "A" list.
4 drivers from the "B" list
and 2 drivers from the "C" list.

You then select 4 of those divers to race. You can use the "driver and weekly previews" at the top of your team page to help you make your weekly selections.
The only real catch is you can only select any one driver 9 times throughout the season. So if you pick Jeff Gorden the first 9 races in a row, he's done for the season.

I joined a league for the first time last year and it was a lot of fun.

You don't have to know anything about Nascar to win.  I beleive there will be a spot for expert picks-it isn't on there as of yet.   So that would be an option to see who they pick and you can decide accordingly.

That's right....they have 4 or 5 experts competing against each other. You can view they're picks every week. I also liked Dan Beaver's weekly diver and track reviews. His weekly review has some great info

There is 12 days, 18 hours and 59 minutes until the 2007 season officially begins at the Daytona 500!  ;D

(I haven't been counting down-I looked on the countdown clock on NASCAR.com)

I wanted to remind everyone that you do not have to be a NASCAR nut (like myself), or even a fan of NASCAR to play in the MNO racing league.  If you are at all interested-sign up or pm me with any questions you may have.

I am working on prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers at the end of the season.  So come on, sign up before Friday Feb. 9th and join the fun!
