my daughter and I went to lake shokoppie in onamia, MN. (up by mille lacs) and we wanted to share these with everyone. We fished in 10 feet of water using wax worms for the sunnies and the crappies bit at night on minnows. I hope anyone with kids will come visit this lake. Take a kid fishing!!!

Took myself fishing on O'Dowd south of Shakopee this weekend and hammered the Sunnies.  Had my limit and ran out of bait.  They were hitting in 20' but most of the aggressive fish were suspended between 8-15'.  Kind of fun, I could see 8-10' down the hold and watch 'em hit.  Some were pretty small, but it wasn't hard to find a limit of good eaters.

Ice was over 20".
