I'm not impressed.....after having and being in every type of shack there is over the years, I don't see what you're gaining with these. I'd rather go a Canvas craft on a small trailer, same thing. Ice gear is  probably the biggest market there is for new inventions, ideas, and also for guys to make a quick buck. This is basically no different than cutting holes in the floor of a pop-up camper and dropping a sleeve down to the ice.

The way Ice Castle's & other wheelhouses have been sellin, not to mention their price, I cann't blame someone trying this. Probably be surprised by what the price tag on these units are too though. Gotta agree Reb, lotta new ideas in the ice fishin arena the last few years, not all that impressed either.

For porties, I still think one of the slickest one is the Shappel DX4000. Has a nice carpeted floor, you can stand up in it, nice big windows, room for 4 holes, gear, fits 2 guys with lotsa room,  and I love the "pop up" skis on bottom of it that make pulling it a breeze. Mine served me well for many years.  :happy1:

I agree, but with so much compition, finding the right nich is difficult.lots of crap out there. I had a camper house for years, loved it, ran pvc pipe to the ice. houses are big in the market, but keeping thin affordable to the average is hard, id be down for a very lightweight skid house i pill with a wheeler and sleep in,  they have them but cost a left nut.

Down here in the south, where guys fish lots of reservoirs, ponds, and small rivers, (all there is to fish!)  the porties rule. No nice big lakes to drive out on.....
