The researchers leading the wolf study in Voyageur Park have identified a few potential world record tree's. When they identify that a wolf has stopped longer than 20 minutes they believe that it is a kill site and they go out and try to locate it. This past summer they put on 800-900 miles of hiking and have found several large trees (potential new records) along the way in Voyageur Park.
