Very Nice All Black beaver. This is one of the darkest beavers i have seen.

nose to eye 2"
nose to tail 24"
around belly 22"

for sure... was told it is a ton of work to use the real one. and the fake one comes in the exact musurements.  wish they had fake feet to.. them webbed feet are a joy.

I don't think i'd spend the time casting it on a commercial mount. If it was for the showroom or competition maybe. The only thing I usually cast on a regular basis is fish heads.

Pretty easy and you are not limited to the few sizes they sell. As for the fish I conventionally mount them and toss them in my freeze dryer. Almost perfect head/tail/and fin junctures with this procedure and less labor intensive than casting. It was an expensive purchase but when you do the inches of fish I do in a year the labor it saves rebuilding jaws, heads, and fin junctures it has paid for itself.
