I've had my camera for a couple yrs now and felt that it didn't really help improve my catch any. Now I'm thinking a bit different.

Last week while on a small lake near Bemidji I used it quite a bit. I used the GPS to put myself on this submerged tree that laid in water from 17' down to 40'. Dropped the camera down to see if I could see the tree and all I seen was fish.

They were all over and a mix of everything. After finding my lure and noticing the minnow was gone I pulled my lines and had not a miinnow on anything.

Dropped down the lines and watching on the cam I seen a bass come and take the jig. Watching the bobber at the same time it never even move to indicate a strike. Then watched as the bass spit out my jig, less one minnow.

So now I was fishing watching my cam instead of my bobber or flasher. I caught everything those days and the only thing that moved the bobber when they bit were rock bass and northern. The rest would spit it out unless I set the hook.

BTW I was after crappies and never seen a crappie on the cam all 3 days.
