I decided to build an elevated enclosed stand for my dad to put up on our hunting land by URL. I live in western SD and built the stand so that I could take it apart to transport it to northern MN. I made it out of scrap wood that my son and I had been accumulating. My son scored some used windows. I have about $100 invested in the rest of the materials. A couple weeks ago I made the long drive (10 1/2 hours) and put up the stand along with doing our regular prep for the upcoming firearms season. We sealed it up the seams and roof with expansion foam. Put some used carpet on the floor and a nice swivel office chair. We even put in some black curtains. It turned out pretty nice. I hope a big buck gives him an opportunity this year.
