Went out of Agasiz about 2 miles past the bridge.  Drilled many holes but the crappies were very finicky.  I ended up catching two nice slabs.  Nice day on the lake with thousands of people out.  I couldn't believe the large size of some of the houses and pulling them accross the bridge??  Next time will be for spring crappies...

Thanks for the report Mr. Harry!  Sorry to hear you didn't get into the "mother load".  Oh well...just means that you have a better chance next time right?  ;) ;D

Yes, there is something about Red Lake that is misterious and keeps calling me back.  By time I get home, I can feel the calling of the lake calling me back!!  Then there is the thought that next time I will catch the mother load!!  We did well up there this year, last year we just didn't catch any.  Each year is different.

I've only been up there twice.  Both times with my group from work.  Last year all we caught were walleyes with 2 crappie being caught.  This year I limited out on crappie and walleye on our trip.  I know in my heart that I'll be back again-whether with my group or my family.   Even if we don't catch anything it's the commaraderie of being out there with friends.  One thing I truely believe in-and that's the Shooks Shake!  I feel that is why I caught my limit-there is no other reason for it.  But you can't just do the shake-you need to believe in the shake! ;)
