Unreal..Guest Workers Protest America (LOL)...In America

You should look forward to front page articles and headline news on TV regarding the "protests" SOME Americans and illegals participated in today regarding illegal aliens/guest workers (LOL) crossing our borders and being asked to obey American laws by ...uhh...law enforcement, and not making your first act in America an illegal one.  UNREAL!!!!!!!!!  When is the 4th of July replaced by Senco de Mayo? 

We have people who are here illegally and some legal Americans who are stating these people's "rights" are being violated and "who are we as Americans to questions them"?  It's like having spiders you never asked to come into your home bitch because you want them out, and they say they are eating the bugs in your home, so they have a right to be in your home even though you never asked them to come.  I have an exterminator thanks.  Before you showed up, someone else was doing the job.

If the left has it right, why even have borders?  Why have Thanksgiving as a holiday?  Why celebrate Christmas as a holiday (though in many corners it's already been dummied down)?  Why celebrate the 4th of July?  Why celebrate Memorial Day?  These are American holidays.  To many new Americans and old Americans who don't celebrate or appreciate these holiday, they may be offended.  If I moved to the Middle East and the Muslims I lived amongst celebrated any of the many holidays/celebrations they partake in, what would happen if I bitched as a Christian that I was offended by their traditions and beliefs as a nation and religion as a new "guest worker" or new citizen?  I will leave that to you to decide (because I'm PC and don't want to state the obvious stoning, hanging, or dull knife sawing off of my head).     

We NEED these people?  Again, for those who support illegals, why have borders?  Why LIMIT the legal immigrants if all that come for cheap labor help us?  None of the left-wing folks I've spoken to can coherently respond to the left's view on supporting illegals and their inherit value to all Americans, but then they state we still need borders & control of the borders as far as immigration and we need limits on new immigrants.  We can't have it both ways.

Sorry, I was just astounded by the audacity of illegals and those who support breaking our laws standing proudly on American soil admonishing SOME Americans for asking them to leave and obey the laws of the land they stand on.  On top of it they are demanding  their "rights" and calling us bad for wanting to uphold American laws.  Not only that, but every newpaper and TV station will cover these SMALL "protests" and place them on the front page tomorrow as if these were huge events and a calling to Americans to be more tolerant of the right of people who live in your neighborhood illegally.  When we give rights to illegals, give them the right to vote, give them licenses, and make them legal citizens, (all proposals by the left), we're doomed as a nation.  America needs traditions, not EVERY tradition of EVERY nation or religion who may be offended by our traditions developed over 200+ years.  Experiment over when all traditions count from all new comers and no assimilation exists.  When someone new on the soil of any nation, legal or not, has the audacity and support to demand their rights and beliefs be upheld over the nation they immigrated to, anarchy will follow. 

Name another nation on the planet where ILLEGALS can stand up and ask for "rights" and be covered in a positive light by the media in the country they are breaking laws?   ::50cal:: ::hittingself:: ??? ::) :ROTFLMAO: :death2:

The problem here is that we ( including me) come to places like this or the coffee shop to complain. What would happen if all leagale citizen's could for once ban together and walk off the job for one or two days?

GO FISHING!!!  :: Now at that time I said I was done too. I am (kinda!). The only thing you said that I KNOW you didn't mean is that Christmas is an American holiday  ::hittingself::. I know you didn't mean that did you? Is that what we are supposed to think or even more is that what you want it to be??? Or do you know something that I don't like.... do you think Jesus was born in Wilmar???  I don't. Just wondering what you meant...

General response:  I never stated Christmas was an American holiday, nor was it ever  intended to be taken as such.  To dismiss the entire post that I made and direct it toward a misconstrued point is not doing my entire point or possible argument justice.  I challenge and encourage anyone from any view to address the issues.  I brought up my points without directing insults or attacks to any specific person regardless of their view.  Fair debate is fun.  Ignoring points you can't defend or that are inconsistant with prior statements you or the party you support is not debate, just fodder.  I am not at ALL pointing fingers, just hoping to stave future BS from all sides.  This site highly discourages personal attacks.  Let's all stay to basic points and debate and stay away from calling names and attacks in general.  Just sayin'.
