Well I went and got the "new to me" boat today and it seems to be in really good shape for being 30 years old. I was going to go out and tinker with it but there is nothing to tinker with, its all been done with the exception of adding a live well. Hope the ice melts soon. ;D

Congrats!  I know how it can be with a new boat in the driveway, kinda like a little kid getting a new bike for Christmas!

Congrats slick!  I too hope to become a owner of a new 2 me boat within a couple of weeks!  Just a few more gigs on my side job as a Chunkendale and I should be golden!

Good for you.  I got rid of a boat last year that had been in my family since I was 11 -- thats 30 years by the way.  So I got my "new to me" boat and like you, had no tinkering to do.  So I just sat in it and had a few beers.
If ya don't know where ya are, go back to da beginnin.

The Mrs and I have started talking about looking for a decent used boat this spring also. Kind of suprised me that she was up for it, but I'm not gonna question it. May have to act quickly before she rescinds the offer. LOL

Sit in it and have a few beers. Good idea, I'll do that before breakfast tomorrow.
