The panfish and muskie bite has been quiet.  The walleyes are biting out on Bemidji on a jig and a shiner or a redtail on a lindy rig.  The fish are scattered, they have been caught down to 40 feet deep. The dusk opener was ok, there are lots of geese around.  About 1/3 of the leaves are off the trees, the grouse hunting is getting a little easier.
