The ice is getting pretty sad in the Ely area with the warm temps the last few days. Johnson Lake got it's butt kicked and may be almost open at this time. Burntside turning very gray, and with the predicted rain this weekend, expect it to be open by this time next week. Now that I have shot my mouth off, I'm sure a cold snap will drop in, and lock it up until mid August  ::) With open water, hope to have some fishing reports for perch, sunnies, and crappies soon. ;D
