I had another member pm me a couple of weeks ago with this same issue. I forwarded the info to Hedrocks and he told me that the system was operating correctly and it was more than likely an issue with the individual users computer and not the system. I will pm that member right now and see if his issue was resolved on his end. I have not heard back from him either way on the issue since I let him know what Hedrocks had said. I will let you know what I find out about that asap.   ;)

i would agree. I just sent that pm off to the other member who reported that same issue to me before. I will post his reply as soon as I hear from him.

When he reported his issue to me, I logged in using his username and clicked through the site with no issues at all, but maybe there is some intermittent thing that is happening for some reason...I'm not a computer savvy person by any means so I am not sure what types of things could cause this to happen.

it's an issue with the type of forum/php module we use and firefox.  They don't work well together.

I know it sucks, but for everything to work right, use internet explorer.
I am a firefox user, and there are just some websites(ours) that just don't work right in firefox.  I don't know if there is something that you can download for firefox to make it work with this browser version... i just don't have the time to dig into it, so I just use IE.

The other member states that he restarted his computer and the issue has not occurred again. I believe he told me previously that he uses Internet Explorer but I am not positive on this. I just pm'd him again to confirm that.  ;)

since its only  on the fourm list  screen  and  resumes   normal on the  actual  thread  page  its  probably just  not looking for the logon cookie or whatever  this php uses  should be a quickie  to fix ..  ( and  there are very few sites that are not firefox compliant  that i know of  or use..)

I was mistaken, the other member that experienced this issue does indeed use Firefox as well.  ;D

Well, I assumed someone was going to but haven't seen anything done as of yet so I just pm'd Spinach, Mayfly and Hedrocks to see if they can get this done asap.  ;)

I assume you are using Firefox?  I've tried the site with several different browsers and never had the problem you are.  I've even used Firefox on my Linux computer and it works fine.

Happy now?  Sorry I couldn't just make the change by thinking about it, I needed to be at my computer.  I guess I didn't realize that was the link you were having problems with.
