Just got home from fishing with my good friend Holdemtwice, his son Jake, and my son Lil' Tree. We started in Faribault on Cannon Lake but weren't getting any bites so we headed down to Clear Lake in Waseca. I will post some details from our outing in the Open Water, Rivers, Lakes forum after we have some lunch.  ;D

Good Morning friends ! It looks to be another beautiful day here in Southern MN, and I hope that rings true in your neighborhood as well this weekend.

We are going to get outside and enjoy the day as much as possible today, we hope you and your family can take some time and do the same.   ;D

Good Sunday morning MNO Family!

Well, we spent the entire day outside yesterday working on our deck...9am-945pm. We decided to take down a fence section that surrounds 3 sides of our deck from the street and totally redo it. It took alot longer to demo what was there, but we got it done and by supper time we were putting up the new 4 X 4's to support the new fence we are building and an overhead pergula (sp?) to block some of the midday sun. It is turning out even better than we had planned. Today, we plan on continuing our way around the rest of the deck and replacing old, split, and dog chewed spindles and installing new 4 X 4's for the pergula on that side of the deck.

Lil' Tree split the day between helping us when he could and playing on his fort and his splash action wave slide. It was a great day for water fun for Lil' Tree.   ;D

I hope you and your family can spend some time outdoors together as well today!    ::cheers::

Great minds think alike; we did a lot of yard work too.  We spread 3 yards of mulch and laid out some flag stone with crushed granite around them.  I'll be glad when Im totally done with this front porch project.  Funny thing is I thought I would be done last year by Halloween.   ::hittingself::
After we were done with that we went to a BBQ at a friends house.   ::drunks::  Stayed up way too late and now Im back to workin on the porch again.  Hope to get a screen door up today then go fishin   ::fishing::

Got my screen door up and hit Bald Eagle with Hockey #12 and a buddy of his.  Cant tell you how many we caught  :whistling:  I got a rubbery muskie lure - it looks exactly like a perch.  Well this was my first time using this muskie rod and this lure.  This thing must weigh over a pound.  My arm was so tired after a while I had to change plans.  Thats not the type of thing you fish with all day I guress.  Fun to try new stuff.  The boat opperated flawlessly so Im real happy about that.

G'night all.
