BRAINERD LAKES AREA ? Brainerd Guide Service, John Blong (218-825-8965) Panfish are inthe shallows. Key locations have been the small, shallow, backwater areas. Small boat harbors, channels and bog areas have been great locations. Small feathered jigs, 1/64-oz, suspended below tiny bobbers have been effective baits for both crappies and large bluegills.

Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!
