I have never hunted, but I have an English Springer Spanial with good pedigree.  I read many bird dog training books, watched a few videos, and spent a lot of time with my little girl.  She just turned 1.

I would like to go out hunting with somebody who might not have a dog, but who has experience, for feedback.  My intention is to see if I like hunting and to put my dog to the test.

She is not afraid of loud noises (e.g., thunder, fireworks, and starter pistols).  I have trained her with frozen pheasants, wings, and bottled scent.

She is a great dog who does not chase rabbits and deer (though she wants to).

She has already flushed a grouse and a few pheasants on walks.

Thanks.

P.S.  If my dog does well, I would like one of the pheasants you shot.  (I will not hunt unless practically necessary, e.g., due to bag limits.)  I am willing to go more than one weekend, too, especially if it is fun.
