Lets hear about your favorite  gun, and why  .

Mine would have to be my  kimber 1911 .This gun has one of the nicest triggers  and tightest tolerences of any  hand gun i have ever fired . It is very accurate as well.  Very easy to handle. m

You need to be a crack shoot to shoot ducks and geese with the rifle though.  Shotgun, Win SX2 does it all. ::rockon::

My favorite gun is my Remington 870 Express! I have been using this gun for Pheasants for about 17 years now! I was lucky to have an Uncle and Dad who taught me how to care for a firearm properly. Thanks to proper care that gun looks like I took it out of the box last week! Every year I say....time for a new one and then I think why waste the money? I have been mowing down pheasants with this gun for 17 years!

Can't realy say I have a favorite anymore. My most charished was a 1917 enfield that I personaly sporterized 35 years ago, my grandson now carries it. What I carry the most now is a TC 7x30 waters with 14" barrel. For days I may have longer shots I carry a Encore in 260 rem. I like the TC because a handgun is the next best thing to a bow for putting more challenge in the hunt. The encore, well as they say the first shot is the best and the one that counts so why carry more then one in your gun.

The bottom line is you don't have to support your fellow hunter's choice of weapon but you do have to support your fellow hunter and his right to have that choice !!!!!!!!

I dont know if you can have "A" favorite gun unless its a favorite for the situation....but being that grouse hunting is my biggest passion, out doing: turkey, deer, pheasant hunting and even overshadowing my sporting clays addiction(the first step is admitting it)...But my most prized gun now is a little 20g Italian made Weatherby D'Italia side x side which I sold my best deer rifle, turned over my thousand dollar tax return and even a few hundred bukos on the side to get......its an extension of my eyes and hands...I even used it for all my clay shooting for a year because I shoot it better than any shotgun I have ever owned, from my first 870 from childhood to my newest modern clays o/u....then I worried about putting 2000 rounds through it every year and only bring her out every fall....so pretty I even gave her a name....Is that bad? :whistling:        -thunderpout 8)

My dad bought his first 870 from shooting muskrats out of the swamps up in mills! And hes forty seven now, he shoots a benelli sbe now, which is a nice gun, but sometimes he still grabs that hunk of metal!

My two favorite guns are my newm extrema2 with the aquatech and kick off.

But the gun I really like, goes boom thud.

Heres a dumb little video I did of making fruit salad at a buck fifty.

There are some minor cuss words, sorry, but its cool.

I'd have to say out of my whole collection my favorite gun is The Browning Gold.  It's just a work of art.

I only have a couple of guns, but my favorite and most used is my Remington 870 Express Magnum 12 ga. slug gun. It goes to deer camp every year and has been a very faithful friend to me over the years. I took my first deer (a nice doe) with this gun, and have taken my best (a nice, symmetrical 8 pt buck) as well with the trusted friend.

I added a Bushnell 1.75-5X32 Trophy Waterproof & Fogproof scope 3 years ago, and that is the deer camp that I took the aforementioned 8 pt at about 95-100 yards. If I hadn't added this scope, i never would have took the shot I did. My normal shooting range at this particular spot was previously 50-60 yards due to dense brush and the rise/fall of the land I normally have this stand in.

I have looked at other guns, but I have a hard time replacing one, or even switching from one, that has been as consistent and trutworthy as this old Remington has been for me.  8)
