I will start...
I was about 17 years old, living at my parents house, and I was coming upstairs and noticed my brother had his back to me and he was on the phone.  Well, I thought I would be funny, and motioned to my sister and my mom to be quiet as a snuck up behind him and pulled his shorts down to his ankles!!  Well, to my SURPRISE...a total stranger turned around and looked at me (a stranger who also wore no underwear by the way!)!! I about died!!  Here this guy had stopped at our house because his car had broke down just down the street and he wanted to use our telephone!  I couldn't even talk to him, I just ran in to my bedroom, but my mom and sister were laughing so hard, they had a hard time explaining what happened!!Can you even imagine going into someone's house to use their phone, and some girl pulls down your pants!! OMG, just thinking about it makes my face turn red!  I will never forget it, and my family has also had lots and lots of laughs remembering this over the years!

.....so what's your most embarrassing story..?  Did I win, or can you top that? Dont be shy now....were all friends here, we can laught at each other and with each other, it's all good!   ;)

I don't know why I am telling this....but when my wife and I were first married, we bought our first house.  It was a fixer upper.  My inlaws would come over on weekends (they lived 80 miles away) and help us with projects.  We went out and grabbed some taco's for lunch.  Then returned home to painting some upstairs bedrooms.  My guts started rolling and I had to make a run for the bathroom.  Now this was an old bathroom (only bathroom in this house) and I had not installed the exhaust fan in there yet.  I am sitting on the throne (thinking my eyes are almost burning from this horrible smell) when knock, knock anyone in there.  It was my mother inlaw.  Just a minute I say.  She also was experiencing stomach issues from the taco's.  I quickly finished up and looked around for a candle to light or air freshner to spray...nothing.  I walked out of that bathroom with my head down and said sorry as my mother inlaw dashed in.  As I walked away embarrassed, I here on my goodness.  I told my wife and all she could do was laugh at me.

Later that day I installed the darn exhaust fan.

Ohhhh, I don't know about hands down...I have a plethora of embarrasing moments, mostly involving alcohol, nudity, or some combination thereof.....

The first one that came to mind (probably because my wife was just talking about it last week) is when we were engaged and living up by Ely, a college buddy of mine was coming up from Milwaukee to do some fishing with me, and wasn't expected in until about 2am...well she is over "visiting" and at about midnight, I am standing in the middle of the dining room (right in front of my main entry door....but it had curtains/blinds...whatever) with my future wife.......ummmm....whatever and my buddy walks in....these are the days before cell phones, and he didn't let me know he took off work early and decided to show up a couple hours early.....

Well, neither he nor I ever mentioned the incident, but I know we both would fall over laughing if it ever comes up in conversation.  I don't think he got what he was expecting when he walked in, and I sure as heck know that I wasn't expecting that at that moment. ::banghead::

This wasn't highly embarassing but still funny.  One night me and Mamma Grute went to Majors with another couple and their 8 old daughter.  I was being a nice guy and playin with the kid a little and stood up at one point to hand her something.  Well when I stood up, the moms decided it would be funny to pull my chair out from under me.  So when I went to sit down, I fell in slow motion, my hat flew off and went flying to the other table, and I then hit the ground and rolled like a Weeble.  EVERYONE was laughin, the gal with my hat was holding it back but you could tell she wanted to laugh.  I would have -- Oh wait, I did.  So I stood up, took a bow, got my hat back from the table next door and drownd my sorrows in a brew   ::drunks::

Thats Mamma Grute for ya and heres what she gets   :moon:

I have a similiar story holdem...My grandma deer hunts with our party.  She is a die hard whitetail hunter.  This one morning we head out to our stand before daylight.  We planned to head home after the morning hunt (four hour drive).  It was a productive morning, we had a couple of our party shoot deer.  I helped drag the deer out and most of our party met back at the vehicles at the time we had chose.  Grandma was not back yet.  I decided to head to her to stand to make sure everything was ok (she is in her 70's).  I come up to her stand, but she was not there.  For a moment i was worried and thought maybe she got turned around in the woods and was lost.  Then I spotted blaze orange on the other side of these evergreens.  I then saw grandma stand up and pull up her pants.  I got a full moon from my 70 + year old grandma.  Now that was embarrassing!

One of my embarassing moments happened at a rodeo in Iowa. I was sittin on the fence at the end of the buckin chutes with two of my buddies. We were laughin and tellin each other lies and failed to notice the catch pen hands where loadin saddle broncs in the chutes. When that first bronc reached the chute where we were he decided to try to jump out. He almost made it over the fence and we jumped to get out of the way. My two friends jumped free of the fence but I was wearin spurs and they both hung in the fence. Well there I was hangin upside down from the fence by my spurs. It took four guys to lift me and unhook me from the fence. There was proly 2500 people in the stands and they all gave me a standing ovation. Boy howdy my face was red.  ::hittingself::
