Sweet.  They should post them in the news paper too.  I always stop by the wall of shame at the deer classic and tell my kids that those could have been our deer or fish had it not been for some scum bag.

I got goin about poachers last night at home and my wife cut me off.  Guess I was getting a little emotional.

I say take their privledges away.  Thats kinda how I teach my kids lessons in life.

What would really be cool is if they had the offense for each of these individuals listed or maybe a short tale. Might be a lot of work but would be fun to read and look through! So far didn't see anyone I know happy2.gif

There is a guy on the list in the trapping section that I use to hunt and fish with, but because of his drinking and other things while hunting I stopped hunting with him. I haven't hunted with him in 9 years. I am suprised he only has the one violation.

Nope, no body I know but did reconize one last name from a neighboring town. Would be nice if they listed which big game or small game.

Every time some idiot does something like this it gives the far left liberals more ammunition and hurts the cause of the average outdoorsman/outdoorswoman. These people are just looking for excuses to take our hunting and fishing rights away. People need to stop and think about how their actions affect the entire outdoors community. Most outdoors people are very aware of their impact on the nature and take great care to keep their impact to a bare minimum. It really chaps my hide when I hear of this sort of thing especially when these guys are way old enough to know better. I better stop writing I'm getting pretty ticked off right now. I'm glad they got caught!!!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by thethings you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throwoff the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catchthe trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Unfortunately I have the displeasure of knowing about 6 of them. Well not really knowing them but know who they are. Never hunted with them or anything but could put a face to them. None of them really surprised me cept for a couple who didn't even hunt or so I thought. I'd be willing to bet they got nailed for trespassing or huntin without a lic and prolly drunk to boot.

I would just like to thank MNO again for one of the very reasons I joined.

This exact topic WAS being discussed in another site I used to visit often.  Someone posted this topic with the link.  Right away the head cheese deletes the link and says something to the effect that this is just DNR propaganda to embarrass and exploit it's own ideas or something like that.  About 10 other people posted after him and said this is public information and we the public should be informed.  That it's no difference then the sexual predators list and we have the RIGHT to know.  Some other people posted that maybe someone has a secret they don't want everyone seeing.  But on that site it's Mr. Frank aka Suface Tention's way or the highway.

I know sometimes we don't all agree.  But at least at MNO we can agree to disagree.  Some topics just get people a little heated and we go a little over board sometimes.  But everyone is entitled to their opinions and I just want to say Thanks again.
