I just got word from an old hunting buddy of mine. (if you have seen a polaris commercial or ad he is the guy behind the helmet) They hunt north of Fourtown which is just north of Red Lake. The land is about 4 miles past the tuberculosis boundary.  One of thier party shot a deer and gutted it without his gloves. He said it was just gross the lungs had about a thousand white looking woodtick looking things on them and lesions in the chest cavity. He took it to the testing place and the D.N.R. came out to the area with him and removed the gut pile and took gps coordinates. This is not the farmland area where the bad area is. I guess now the D.N.R. will be baiting them there also and shooting about 20 animals a night.
