Wayzata area fishing report 5-12-06
WAYZATA - Wayzata Bait & Tackle, Tim or Bob, half mile west off I-494 on Hwy 12 (952-473-2227) Crappies continue to be taken from Maxwell Bay, Black, Seton and Wayzata Bay in 6-10 feet of water. Sunfish are taking waxworms on ice flies in the greener weeds. For walleyes on this weekend?s opener, try fishing the flats off the big point with a jig and minnow in the green weeds. There is a no wake zone within 500 feet of all shorelines, for northerns try just outside of the channels.
